Calamari Satay with Tamari Cilantro Dipping Sauce

Calamari Satay w/ Tamari Cilantro Dipping Sauce

If attacked by Giant Squid just use this recipe.

  24      each          calamari -- cleaned
     1/4  cup           peanut butter
   1      tablespoon    hot sauce
     1/2  teaspoon      turmeric
   1      cup           coconut milk
   1      tablespoon    garlic -- minced
   1      tablespoon    chives -- minced
   1      tablespoon    cumin
   2      tablespoons   sugar
   1      tablespoon    salt
                        DIPPING SAUCE
     1/2  cup           tamari soy sauce
     1/2  cup           olive oil
   1      tablespoon    sesame oil
     1/4  cup           lime juice
     1/4  cup           cilantro -- chopped
   1      tablespoon    garlic -- minced
   1      tablespoon    chives -- minced
   1      tablespoon    sugar
          to taste      salt and pepper

Mix first ingredients and marinate calamari 1 hour.
Stuff tentacles into the head and skewer.
Grill over medium high heat.
Combine dipping sauce ingredients.
That's about it.
